Before going in-house, Irene worked at the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, and the Federal Trade Commission in the Bureau of Consumer Protection. Irene was the Chief Financial and Legal Officer of Hopin, a leading community engagement platform, where she managed legal, finance, policy, and trust & safety teams. She was also the General Counsel of Checkr, a provider of modern background checks, where she managed legal, compliance, policy, finance, and customer education teams.
