Episode 026: "The Power of Being Present Part I"
My brother Ru Gracia and I talk about how our spiritual lives became deeper, richer, and more powerful when we learned the power of being PRESENT- a concept I wasn’t familiar with for the greater part of my walk with Christ. I’ll admit that without realizing it, my Christianity was shallow without me knowing it because I simply wasn’t paying attention to what was going on inside of me.
Some years ago, I began to realize that God is MORE interested in what’s going on in my heart and mind as what is going on in the physical world around me, but I was only focused on the outside. Learning to stop, pay attention, and LISTEN to the Holy Spirit is what changed everything for me. This is what it means in the word when it says He is looking for those who worship in SPIRIT and TRUTH.
