It's True Crime New England's 75th episode! To celebrate, Katie and Liz talk about a very well-known case: the murder of Greggory Smart, orchestrated by his wife, Pamela. The young couple had just been married, and quickly their lives went from being fun and spontaneous, to career-focused and full of responsibilities. Pamela found herself working for the New Hampshire School District, which put her constantly with teenagers. It wasn't long before Pamela met and "fell in love" with a 16-year-old, who she started an inappropriate sexual relationship with. It was less than a year into their marriage when Pamela gave her groomed teenage companion an ultimatum- kill my husband, or we're breaking up!
