In the “Managing Your Anxiety as an Entrepreneur” episode, Jackie P. Taylor gave us the tools to stay in the game while growing your business or advancing professionally. Creating a balance within sets the tone for external relationships. You are the most important asset in your life. Your evolution requires you to prioritize your mental health and integrate your wants and needs into your schedule. Finding balance between our personal and professional life helps you see clearer.

Prioritize yourself as an asset in your life. You need time for you. That way you are able to reset and add value to others. You cannot function on empty. It is important to learn your triggers and energizers, so that you are in control of yourself and not being controlled by external factors.

KEY POINTS:

– There are highs and lows in life and it is important to embrace stress, but it should never remain a constant factor in your everyday life.

– Use the resources and guidance around you to elevate in any way possible.

– Developing strategic relationships is NOT a bad thing. Create relationships with those that can benefit you and be willing to also provide a benefit to them as well.

QUOTABLES:

– “Treat your personal life and your health the same way you would any other asset in your life.”

– “Embrace Stress.”

– “A solocation is just as important as a group vacation”

– “When you learn something, implement immediately”
