Join us for Episode 2 of The Wordsmith's Edge, featuring self-published author, J.H. Gates (Currently J.H. Lehr - she's married the love of her life!) She is a talented author who has inspired so many with her fantasy novel, Rise of the Forgotten, and her love for all things adventure!
Jessica is a daughter of Christ and is passionate about creating clean, but exciting, stories that leave you on the edge of your seat, wanting so much more! We are so thankful to be able to talk to her about all things Rise of the Forgotten, writing, and future projects!
She lives in the mountains of North Idaho where she finds her own adventures and writes her own story, one which has just begun.

In between querying for her primeval fantasy duology, The Hinterlands and The Bloodlands, she’s working to finish book two in her Tales of Alarkin, “Through to the Dawn,” in time to release later this year.

When she’s not writing, she can be found drinking tea and snuggling with her two cats, Toothless and Stormfly, or off galloping over the mountains on her 6-year-old Arabian mare, Black Minx. Beware: archery, martial arts, and sword fighting are all tricks up her sleeve, so don’t surprise this adventurous author!
