The Bible is honest about its hero's. David was without question a great man of God. He was a man after God's own heart. Yet in this study we will see how he failed. His failure was so great that unless God intervened, David would have lost his life.
David's failure was that he stopped fearing the LORD. David shares transparently with us his experience in order that we may learn to fear the LORD.
Do you fear the LORD? There is no downside to the fear of the LORD. The fear of the LORD is wisdom; clean and enduring; tends to life and causes us to depart from evil.
Today we see much of the world inside the church. At times it is impossible to differentiate between the two. Why? Because the fear of the LORD is absent.
Do you fear the LORD? The only fear a child of God should have is the fear of the LORD. The fear of the LORD will deliver us from all other fears.
