This week’s show features a pair of interviews with two extremely talented filmmakers. First, we begin with actor and comedian Rell Battle (Peacock's KILLING IT, SUPERIOR DONUTS, THE GOOD DOCTOR, KEY AND PEELE, BLACK-ISH), who created and stars in the new comedy/mystery web series OFF FAIRFAX.
The pilot episode made its world premiere at the recent Tribeca Film Festival in New York, and two more screenings are scheduled for it - one at the Hollyshorts Film Festival in Los Angeles and the other at the Hip-Hop Film Festival (also in New York). Both festivals will run from August 11th through the 20th.
Next, we bring you a conversation with one of our returning guests, Creighton Hobbs, who last joined us several years ago to talk about his autobiographical documentary HOW MANY CHANCES, and now comes back to the Viewfinder Podcast to discuss his latest feature-length project, the gritty crime drama BINDED BY TRAGEDY, which as of this airing is currently in production.
