Do passengers have a right to refuse — or are they being just plain switcher-rude? As myriad past incidents have proven, swapping seats has become a contentious travel issue, with armchair experts flocking to each side of the aisle. Fortunately, bonafide travel gurus have cleared the air on what passengers should do when propositioned with a seating shakeup in the sky. In the headlines on #TheUpdate this Monday, one person was killed and as many as 20 others injured after a tree fell on top of a train traveling through New Jersey, according to reports. It’s getting much harder to hitch a free ride on an MTA bus. An army of unarmed “enforcers” deployed at bus stops and aboard city buses in the Big Apple to stem skyrocketing fare beating is paying quick dividends — and passengers have noticed. And in Decision 2024, The armed suspect who was arrested on weapons charges on his way to Donald Trump’s California rally denied the local sheriff’s assertion he wanted to kill the ex-president, calling the accusations on Sunday “bulls–t.”
