I’m Ashlie Mitchell, founder of The Sparkle Cleaning Company, and I love to clean! My love and passion for cleaning started in the hotel industry in 2012, where I worked my way up from housekeeper to housekeeping manager. When I left the hotel industry, I took with me years of knowledge that I gained from the housekeeping and maintenance departments. I now pass that knowledge on to my staff, which allows us to go above and beyond for our clients in an efficient way.
At the beginning of my cleaning career, I had the opportunity to work for two different cleaning companies. I learned valuable tips and tricks to housecleaning from each of them and was introduced to some tools of the trade that clean effectively, and one of those tools is still my favorite – the Dyson vacuum! Yes, I’m in love with my vacuum cleaner. This vacuum alone saves our cleaning techs time and energy because of how convenient it is. It’s also easy to maintain and has hypoallergenic filters.
With the combined experience I gained from the hotel industry and the cleaning companies, I’m now able to create a positive work environment I’ve always wanted.
God and I started this journey in 2016. He pushed me to take a leap of faith into self employment. I had the experience I needed and the right doors were beginning to open. I never wanted more clients than what I could personally handle but He had other plans!
What makes The Sparkle Cleaning Company different?
I have taken the fast and efficient cleaning process learned from the hotel industry and have adapted and applied it to the sparkle cleaning process. We assign individual cleaners to clients, which allows for a more personal yet professional relationship to develop. It is important to us that each client knows and is comfortable with who is in their home at all times.
We also believe in creating a clean home without the use of toxic chemicals. We value our clients’ and our employees’ health, so we use an essential oil-based cleaner. This cleaner has five essential oils that help support the immune system. Did you know that when you touch or walk on a surface cleaned with any cleaner in general, that cleaner absorbs into your vita flex points on the bottom of your feet and the palms of your hands? If harsh chemicals are used to clean your home, just think of all the toxins being absorbed into your body! Our essential oil-based cleaner helps support your immune system instead of break it down. And it smells great too!
I realize that through God, all things are possible. We started this journey together, and He supports my business decisions daily. I now know that I was created to lead and grow this amazing company through the help of God and through my networking partner, IKAGG. This incredible group of networking people has been a blessing to my company, and I’m grateful for their continued support.
