We are coming to you live from the Wanders Golf course where MacDonald's is hosting their Red Socks Golf Day event to highlight some of their community building initiatives which forms part of their corporate social responsibility. One of their major ones is the Ronald McDonald House Charity, which is located in the Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital in Park Town, Johannesburg. The accommodation offers what they say is a hotel-style rooms for families travelling more than 60 kilometres for specialist medical care.
