The government shutdown appears to be nearing an end. The Democrats exposed the failure of the Affordable Care Act in their fight to keep COVID-19 Pandemic-era subsidies from expiring. The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) used “doctored video” of President Trump’s January 6, 2021 speech on the White House Ellipse. Thousands of U.S. flights are being cancelled because of air traffic controller staffing shortages caused by the government shutdown.
