"If You're Going Through Hell, Keep Going" - Winston Churchill

Key Points:

-After successes in selling real estate, Ellen transitioned to an internet entrepreneur. She was successful, having reached 6 figures in 2 1/2 years. When the recession hit, she lost half her coaching clients and had to sell many of her cherished valuables. -She still kept at it, adjusting to the times. -She learned to turn over the busy work to others so that she could focus on that which she did best and enjoyed doing. Ellen followed the 80/20 Rule.

"If you're not passionate about what you're doing, you're not going to be successful." -Ellen Violette

-When you create something, make sure to put it into the marketplace. It's important especially for books, to get it out. Do that by marketing it. -As an entrepreneur, you're going to wear many hats. Only when you have enough money can you outsource the parts that need to be. -Ellen had to figure out what works for her. It took her years to do that. -She she hit a point, after doing a lot of work on herself, she hired a coach to help her get out of her own mind and help rewrite her script.

3 Tips:

1. As a creative entrepreneur, watch the cash flow, get to know your numbers. Cash Flow is King! 2. Continue to learn. Things are constantly changing and it's important to keep up. Learn and then teach. Put yourself out into the marketplace. Continue to stay up on the trends. If you want to really grow, follow top leaders and experts in your industry. Especially the ones that spend $200,000+ on marketing. 3. Do what you love. Again, passion will keep you going. Get to know yourself.

Bonus Tips:

-As an entrepreneur, learn to solve a problem and give value. One of the top ways to do this is to write a book. This will set you apart as a leader. -Create an outline for the book you want to write. There are many ways to write a book, including doing an audio interview. You can even do that and create a book in as little as 3 hours. -Figure out how much time you're willing to spend on certain things. Focus on what's important for the success of your business and stay away from simply busy work or fighting fires (like immediate stuff). Follow the 80/20 Rule.
