Reducing relliance on hazelnut imports

A plan is in the works to increase domestic hazelnut product, to help reduce Australia's reliance on imports.

Industry pioneers, researchers, growers, and wholesalers are working together to develop and test quality standards for production.

Rural editor Emily Minney caught up with Charles Sturt University's Distinguished Professor Geoff Gurr to hear more about the project and increasing demand for the product.
