Happy Friday! Today we are joined by Women's Mental Wellbeing Therapist & Coach, Georgette Desira. Georgette has worked in several roles within the mental health care system in the UK, including prisons, hospitals, and community wards. Through her personal and professional experiences, she has learned a lot about trauma, healing, and the system itself. In this episode, we discuss some of these systemic issues, along with types of therapy and ways of approaching trauma. Now, she works as a private coach and part-time therapist for the NHS.
