How do you go about managing a property once you've purchased it? Most people focus on solely finding and funding the deal, but often forget how important it is to make sure that asset performs well overtime. This allows you maximize profits and grow at a rapid pace.

About Mike Woodfield:

Mike Woodfield, CPM Candidate, is COO, and partner of Obsidian Capital Co. After leaving college Mike took on his first venture as a partner in Solstys Environmental. During his time with Solstys Mike grew the company from $340,000.00 in annual revenue to $2,210,000.00 in annual revenue in just under 1.5 years while overseeing up to 45 employees.

After selling his ownership in Solstys Mike was able to leverage his strong operational skillset in Austin Texas where he would oversee the asset management of nearly $300,000,000 in multifamily deals over the last 4 years. During that time Mike oversaw the renovation of 2,200 multifamily units totaling $20,000,000 in improvements which created millions in value-add.

Since becoming partner of Obsidian Capital CO. Mike has participated in the acquisition, asset management and renovations of 476 apartment units.

Mike has a BA in Public Relations from Utah State University, experience in executing turnarounds for under performing assets and over seven years of operation and marketing experience across multiple industries.
