Katie's newsroom story is not unfamiliar. It's a full on career path and when she had her children she decided the two couldn't co-exist so left to start out on her own. But it's not easy leaving a successful career you've taken years to build.
In this episode, we also talk about making time for yourself, the importance of a support network as a new (and not so new) mum and how her life as a voice over artist came to be. Katie's children are older now, so it was great to hear her journey over the years.
