When someone takes advantage of you and then discards you it speaks more about them than it does about you. For the first time, I discuss my previous toxic relationship and the long healing process. It was almost like dealing with a death. I really wanted this relationship to work in spite of all the red flags. Not until I realized that it never has been about me. Something that was never mine to begin with was given to me. I am now grateful to share my story with all my fellow empaths for the first time.
