Freedom of speech is a fundamental part of American society. The reality is that it is and has been under attack for quite some time. And guess where a lot of that speech occurs? You guessed it. College. College shapes countless lives which shape communities which in turn shape the nation. And freedom of speech on college campuses across the nation is under attack. Perhaps you listening are or were a college student. Maybe you are a parent or friend of a college student. Chances are there is a college student in your life and whether you like it or not, our nation is affected by what takes place on college campuses. Free speech. It is a freedom we Americans were born with, a right given by God to every human. It reinforces all other God given rights and it allows a nation to develop and progress, to overcome the mistakes of the past. The freedom to express our minds, our thoughts, and opinions is essential to bring about positive change in any society. Yet our God given right to express ourselves through language is in jeopardy. There are many on the left that see it as a threat to their power and that they must do everything they can to hinder it. They realize that if you control language, you control thought. And if you control thought, you control the nation itself. Justine Brooke Murray joined Jacob Kersey to discuss free speech on college campuses, antisemitism, and the left’s grooming of America’s children.
