• Larry Green is a part of an incredible ministry called Cloudwalk
• Cloudwalk does retreats and hosts groups for men and women who want to connect with their Heavenly Father and who He made them to be.
• We have reasons to be hesitant about hearing from God: maybe he won’t speak, maybe what I hear will be terrible, etc.
• Most men really want to know who God has made them to be as a man, husband, father, etc. ...and the only way to truly discover that is from the one who made us, God.
• Story: Larry became a Christian at 14 years old, but didn’t understand grace. He thought it was about being “good enough” and so believed on a deep level that he wasn’t worth loving. As a man, pursued the American Dream and all that corporate America had to offer - exhaustion, bad marriage, and disconnected kids.

In 2002, got invited to go on a silent retreat, with no desire to go be alone for 4 days with God… but, God showed up and spoke through his own thoughtlife to tell him how much he loved him. It was overwhelming and a start to a whole new way of life. Left that retreat with no doubt about His love and the fact that God speaks to his children.

• Began a life of being on fire for a relational connection with God.
• When you are really hearing from God, love is always at the center.
• When you are “experiencing” Jesus and his love, then you back to scripture, you will see and read what you are experiencing.

• For example… as you start to receive his love - as scripture says - the fear inside of you is cast out.

• Hearing from God is much more simple than we make it.
• The wisdom God reveals is so much better than wisdom from any.
• An intimate relationship with God will always involve hearing from him.
• Feel free to weigh what you are hearing from God with scripture. This increases your faith and trust in hearing.
• It starts with the desire to get to know God - the father, the son, the holy spirit.
• The starting place, for Larry, was beginning to pursue a relationship - through spending time and prayer.
• You were made to be in a unique relationship with the father, son, and the holy spirit and it looks very different than the way it looks for others. He knows how to guide us in this if we’ll just say, “we want this, but we don’t know how.”
