Connecting dots of events happening in New Orleans so you can “see” what’s happening spiritually.
The recall, the 9 month drought, some “churches” are losing followers, the Catholic Church is under judgement, our living conditions are oppressive, the fog, the river, our children are rebelling, blood shed in the streets and more…. Are we paying attention?
I also add some responsibilities of the administration so you can know who does what with clarity.
Per the Home Rule Charter of the city of New Orleans, these are responsibilities of the mayor.
The Mayor shall have the power and shall be required to:
(e) Study, devise, and implement programs to improve housing and neighborhood conditions in the City.
(f) Study, devise, and implement programs to foster economic development in the City.
(g) Provide for cooperation and coordination among criminal justice agencies and officials.
When we humble ourselves as a community, we will see change and until then… we kinda asked for it by being out of the will of God for our lives.
