As we touch on this passage today about Jesus being anointed by Mary, you have to remember what brought this occasion to pass in the first place. It was the resurrection of Lazarus. And we talked about how incredibly miraculous this was. Four days in the grave isn't a pretty sight. We kind of sanitized it in our American thinking. But in reality, it was bad. It was very, very, very bad and very ugly. And Jesus did something that was astounding by any standards. He raised a man four days dead back to life. Enjoy the rest of the message.
