Did you know the questions you ask yourself can have more impact on your success than knowing the right answers?

For example: Spending a week asking yourself whether your sessions should be at 6:00 or 6:30 will leave you feeling worn out without much to show for it. If you spent that same week instead asking yourself what you'd like to help your clients achieve in 5 years, you'd end up with a much better idea of where you are going.

In this episode Dale and I (Kyle) talk about the difference between high quality and low quality questions. I share some stories about getting stuck on low-level questions and what I did to move forward and Dale shares 6 amazing high quality questions he asks himself each day.

We then finish off the pod by answering a bunch of common questions so that you don't have to spend lots of time thinking about them:

  • How long is the best session? 45 minutes or 60 minutes or another time? (thanks Peter from Wales) [skip to 14:40]
  • What is the best course to do for trainers? (Or place to get qualified as a trainer?) [skip to 18:20]
  • What is a good system/software for tracking my clients? [skip to 21:00]
  • Should I offer a free trial? [skip to 22:50]
  • After this is all over, what is a good way to set up a hybrid offering for my sessions (virtual sessions and face to face)? [skip to 26:30]
  • What is a good formula for a 12-week challenge? [skip to 29:45]
  • How do I get noticed? [skip to 34:05]
  • How can I help clients with their nutrition? [skip to 36:55]

Got a question for us? Ask away.

Other useful timestamps:

  • 4:30 – Asking questions as a way to avoid doing what you need to do (instead of taking action)
  • 7:00 – Start your day with good questions
  • 11:00 – What can you do when you get stuck on a question?
  • 14:20 – Rapid fire questions (see times above)
  • 39:00 – Right Here, Right Now
