Wayne walks us through his early career and how he became a criminologist. Then we talk about one of his signature pieces, a 1996 publication in American Sociological Review, "Routine Activities and Individual Deviant Behavior." Finally, Wayne gives us his thoughts on the field and where we should go moving forward. It was an absolute pleasure to speak with Wayne Osgood.
