The marriage of St. Clotilda and Clovis, and his subsequent conversion to Catholicism brought forth in time the rise of Charlemagne and the Holy Roman Empire just as the conversion of Ruth and her subsequent marriage to Booz brought forth King David and the Davidic Dynasty.
