Our church still believes the old Book, the AV1611 (King James Bible). In fact, we believe that it not only was inspired (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:22) in the originals (which no one alive has ever seen) but it has also been preserved word perfect for us in the AV1611 (Ps. 12:6-7; Pro. 30:5-6). We still believe singing the old hymns is a spiritual blessing that shouldn’t be set aside for modern music which is mostly shallow, lacking in doctrine, and based in music styles that are carnal designed to satisfy the flesh rather than feed the soul. We still believe that all men are sinners and headed for a devil’s Hell. All mankind is in need of savation and that we are without the ability to earn God’s favor of our own effort or works but that faith in Jesus is the only way to receive forgiveness and eternal life (Jn. 3:16-18; Rom 3:10, 23; Isa. 64:6; Eph. 2:8-9; Ro. 10:9-10, 13). And we still believe that Christ is the answer that lifts men’s souls from the grip of sin and sets him firmly on a solid Rock, helping him navigate the troubled sea of life and fitting him for a future in Heaven (Deut 32:4; Ps. 40:1-3; Mt. 7:24-25). In other words Jesus Is Right for Whatever Is Wrong.
