Hi, my name is Leigh Holmes Foster, I'm the Executive Producer and Composer for The Flame, and I also play Heather.
The Flame is an entirely original rom-com podcast musical. It tells the story of two women, Jamie, who's a bar owner, and Sam, the woman selling the building the bar inhabits, and of course the inevitable sparks that end up flying between them! With the help of her best friend, Heather, played by me, and bar regular Jo, can the residents of The Flame keep the bar alive? Or can Sam’s friend Mel help her work through her complicated feelings she has about her father’s death and the building that she grew up in before she makes a rash decision that she's gonna regret?
The Flame is an eight episode musical arc with an entirely original story, book, and score. It's available everywhere that you listen to podcasts. We're really excited about this project. What you're about to listen to is Episode 1, where you'll meet some of the main characters, you'll meet Jamie, you'll meet The Flame, and we really hope you enjoy the story!
