1 John 3:10-17

There is no way of telling what a tree is other than by its fruits, and there is no way of telling what a person is other than by their conduct, how we love. (our property which is new to us has a lot of trees and plants. We didn’t know and some things we still don’t know what they are. We are finding that out almost daily now that things are blooming and leaving out. What we are seeing reveals)
As Christians we are constantly showing are leaves, blossoms and fruit.
If someone comes to find out we are a Christian and says, “I knew it, we really do act like one. I’m a believer too”. That’s what we want to hear.
We don’t want to hear, that after 20 years of working with someone, I never knew you were a Christian. Whoa! Not good. Or young people who start dating someone and I ask are they a Christian? Well, I don’t know… I want to say.. Well I do then.. NO. Because you should know by their love.
This morning we will be talking about What is Love? Before we do we need a little background on the story of Cain and Abel.
