TATHAGATA (PART TWO) — Understanding the perfection of a fully enlightened Buddha (livestreamed)

Welcome back to the Sutta Meditation Series Podcast.

We live streamed this Dhamma session on our YouTube channel on 5 May 2023

The main purpose of today’s livestream is to understand the perfection of a fully enlightened Buddha, and why a Buddha is superior to other living beings, including humans, devas and even noble disciples who have realised the fruit of arahantship.

The format for this livestream will be: (1) The Tathāgata, bhikkhus liberated by wisdom, other teachers, brahmins and wanderers(2) The importance of conviction in the Tathāgata(3) Qualities of the Buddha, including short meditation (buddhānusati)(4) The danger of slandering the Buddha (5) Asking for forgiveness

In clarifying some of these things, we hope to arouse more conviction, confidence and faith towards the Buddha(s).
