How do you get past holding a grudge? Here is what I do. Never contribute to malice what can be explained by ignorance or incompetence. In this video I explain some of the very basic coping strategies that I have used to function in civilian society after I posted with DD214 in hand. This is an overview of the things that drive the people you come in contact with on a daily basis. I used to take all of these interactions personally until I realized that these people are just mottling through their pitiful existence with no awareness of me what so ever. So why not dismiss their stupidity as just that, and keep it out of my OODA Loop.
