When one door closes...

You've probably heard the quote. When one door closes, another one opens. Did you know Alexander Graham Bell said that?
But there's more of the quote. He continues, We often look so long and regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that's opened up for us.

I've learned to be careful about closed doors and cautious generally about the past. Look at it. Learn from it. Make things right.
If you can repent to forgive whatever you need to do and then move on. Someone said the windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror because where we're going is more important than where we've been.
Paul in Philippians three says it like this. I focus on this one thing, forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God through Christ Jesus is calling us.
