Abdul Shakur belonged to a poor family but was ambitious from a young age to achieve success. He is a director in sales and marketing communications for 10 years. His first business was a marketing agency building communities and personal brands for businesses. He moved to London and worked as a consultant and a commercial director. He fell into the idea of capital raising and later own setup his own private academy looking after 100+ clients and property developers to advise them about raising capital consistently. They’ve raised about 10 million plus of capital.

Abdul Shakur thinks that people put too much time and thought in creating content as they feel it is very important. The reality is, your content needs to be seen as a public journal. He used to tell his clients to treat social and online content as a public journal and to bring out value. You need to resonate with the audience and be your authentic self. It’s all about balancing things. Abdul says, people get so disheartened with marketing because they are so focused on the result of ROI that they forget about the process.
