The plaintiff says he met the defendant at the grocery store and they became involved. He says she drove her car into the ramp at his house and ruined it, so he’s suing her for the cost to repair the damage. The defendant claims he only got nasty about the ramp when she turned him down for a date. She’s countersuing for emotional distress.

Then, the plaintiff says she hired the defendant to make a custom headboard, and she even gave him a deposit. She claims he gave her the runaround and won’t give her the money back, so she’s suing. The defendant says he was ready, but the fabric she wanted was on backorder. He’s countersuing for the balance he’s owed.

Plus, the plaintiff says she signed a lease with the defendant to rent a place for her and her six kids, but when it came time to move in, the defendant said she was having trouble getting the old tenant out and she couldn’t move in. The plaintiff is suing because the defendant kept her money. The defendant claims the trailer was ready on the agreed date, and she insists the plaintiff backed out of the arrangement. She’s countersuing for moving fees and early termination.
