The plaintiff says the defendant called her crying because he got arrested and couldn’t make bail. As a longtime family friend, she paid for it, and now he’s disappeared. She’s suing for what she’s owed. The defendant says he did landscaping work for the plaintiff, so he owes nothing.

The plaintiff says she bought a clunker of a car from the conniving, unscrupulous defendants, who tried to tell her the car problems were her fault. She’s suing for her money back. The defendants says the transmission tank was overflowing with oil, which ruined the car. They say she’s the one who did it.
