I will tell you how you missed the signs, put up with things for so long and didn’t realize things were going to get worse…it’s difficult to see the bad when you are naturally inclined to see the good. Why would you assume that the person you love and is supposed to love you back, is trying to deceive you, manipulate you or control you? It becomes even harder to believe that when you loved one love-bombs you, plays the victim or shames you.
