2021 Showcase: Hawk Chronicles

The Audio Verse Awards Nominee Showcase Podcast

This is Gerard O’Brien, announcer and voice of Jake Holliday and Sam the Hongan on the Hawk Chronicles; a hard science fiction based radio drama involving former police detective Kate Hawk as she and her companions fight crime on earth and throughout the Galaxy. Space travel and quick travel on earth is accomplished through portals and Space Time Interstellar Transport units, or STIP units. She and others become agents for the Intergalactic Defense Force, fighting members of the Rebels Against the Galactic Empire, or RAGE. On earth, units from the IDF doubling as agents from Homeland Security, MI6 and various police agencies fight terrorist attempts, backed by RAGE, as they pledge to disrupt the IDF. Throughout the galaxy, RAGE continues to fight against the Federation keeping our heroes busy. The show currently runs on public radio stations in Virginia and Maryland, so it is family friendly. Over the course of the last 6 years, there have been over 65 voice actors from 7 different countries in the show.
