‘Working in isolation – what’s been occupying Australia’s Chief Scientist in 2020?’ Dr Finkel will present an overview of his work so far in 2020 – supporting the government’s response to COVID-19 including convening the Rapid Research Information Forum to provide rapid responses to questions arising from the pandemic; chairing the Expert Advisory Panel for the CSIRO Report on Climate and Disaster Resilience; and chairing the Technology Investment Roadmap Ministerial Reference Group.
