My life is a lesson of what to and what not to do. I am a imperfect man. Ladened with faults and failures. In recovery I have learned to accept all my failings and imperfections. It is my belief that the God of my understanding forgives unconditionally. He grants us life as a display of his immense mercy and unconditional compassion. His love for me is demostrated in his permitting my life each new day. My gratitude is demostrated by what I do with my life. The more I give the more God gives me to give. God';s love is unconditional and the love we show others should also be without condition or expectation of a return. In order to love someone else we must first love ourselves. I believe , I must love myself so that I can love someone other than myself. Listen as Trent relates its his accepting of his imperfections that keeps him sober each new day.
