In 1855, as the town of South Devon went to bed for the evening, they would awaken to find that snow had fallen but more importantly, foot prints had been left behind. After finding them, this would send the town into a bit of a chaos because nobody could figure out exactly what they were or what left them behind. Following them, they would find they ran for 40 to 100 miles. Unsure of what caused them, theories would come out but not one theory could satisfy the parameters. So what caused it?
