Today's Orthodox Nationalist is an analysis of Franz Kafka's infamous novel, The Trial. Written almost exactly a century ago, the novel deals with the absurdity of juridical practice in a decrepit society. As Kafka was a Jewish nationalist and a student of Talmud, this element cannot be left out of any understanding of the novel, and in fact, is central to it. Is the gentile judicial bureaucracy just a projection of Jewish guilt?
