In this week’s episode, John Jurica provides an overview of the factors that went into planning the first NewScript Nonclinical Career Summit.

NewScript is an online community of clinicians looking for professional satisfaction, overcoming the stress and burnout arising out of the current healthcare system, and moving into more satisfying nonclinical and nontraditional careers. John is the co-founder with Dr. Tom Davis.

During his presentation, John addresses several issues:

• what inspired John and Tom to create a 3-day Summit;
• the principles they followed during the process;
• how they planned each of the important components of presenting a Summit, from choosing the curriculum, recruiting speakers, and creating the website, to marketing the Summit, and managing the event.
