James and I are regulars at Grand Prize. His first job after graduating from Rice with a degree in mechanical engineering was for NASA, for whom he stayed at for nearly 30 years before retiring. His career in space exploration includes being in mission control when the Challenger exploded and traveling to Russia to help with the International Space Station. We had some drinks at my place and talked about his life.
