Open-Door Playhouse

Helios, the Greek Sun God torments his son-in-law, Jason, with blasts of sun rays into exposing the tragic events that led to his epic downfall as a legendary hero before an audience of ghosts from his past. Reluctantly, and with the aid of alcohol, he makes a promise to tell the whole truth of what happened to him, his wife Medea, and their children.

Issac Byrne is the writer. Isaac has been awarded the New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Direction twice. His productions have been nominated for a Drama Desk Award, an Off-Broadway Alliance award, 29 NYIT awards, and 6 Planet Connection Awards. He currently teaches acting at the University of the Arts.
