In episode 4 of eXXXamine - Real & Raw Conversations About Porn & Purity, I had a conversation with Cynthia Maselli. Cynthia lived a much different life than I did. I lived with two of my exes before marriage and performed in porn for seven years. I chose a lot of wrongs before I finally got it right.

Cynthia, on the other hand, was a virgin until marriage. During our conversation, she said something I will never forget. She said, "When we talk about virginity, we often talk about losing it. But God isn't in the business of losing; He's in the business of giving."

I am sure most of us do not have a story like Cynthia, and that's okay. Because like she said, God is in the business of giving. He gives second chances, He gives redemption, He gives grace, and He gives restoration. God is a giver. If your story is anything like mine, then I am sure you can find comfort in that statement.

It was vital for me to have this conversation with Cynthia because she is a wealth of information. When I quit the porn industry, she mentored me and taught me how to walk in purity.
