The Sligo Air Show is returning with a new and improved event over the 27th and 28th of July.

The performances will take place at Sligo Airport in Strandhill, and will feature some of the most talented Irish, international pilots and aerobatic formation teams.

And in a first of its kind in Ireland, a spectacular airborne fireworks display by the Firebirds will take place.

Sé Pardy, Sligo Air Show Director, says the weekend is “aerial rock and roll”:
