But first, they discuss the history of the Corinthian Church and the significance of Margaret Atwood’s Genesis 30 reference in the first episode of the show.

Then, they deep dive into the four types of love, Storge, Philia, Eros, and Agape and describe how they relate to The Handmaid’s Tale and the Bible. Wanda also defends Nick’s character and uses examples from the four types of love to show his deep sense of care for June and his opposition to the beliefs of Gilead.
