The film follows new student Cady Heron as she navigates the treacherous social hierarchy of high school, particularly the elite group of popular girls known as "The Plastics," led by Regina George. As Cady becomes entangled in Regina's world, she must learn to stay true to herself with the help of her outcast friends Janis and Damian.
