We talk about the Voynich manuscript which is an illustrated codex, hand-written in an unknown script. The vellum on which it is written has been carbon-dated to the early 15th century. The origins and authorship and purpose of the manuscript are still debated, hypotheses range from a script for a natural language, constructed language, an unread code, or other form of cryptography, or a comprehensive collection of information and analysis pertaining to a body of knowledge or maybe work of fiction writings.
