Robin Chadha has worked for a number of fashion and lifestyle companies, including Tommy Hilfiger Jeans and Mexx. The launch of a unique and creative food & drink experience called RAIN in 2004, allowed him to successfully expand into the hospitality industry. Prior to selling RAIN in 2008, Robin became Marketing Director at citizenM hotels where he safeguards the brand’s integrity throughout all disciplines, initiates innovation, and fosters partnerships.
Lennert de Jong is responsible for citizenM’s business strategy. From finding new opportunities in an industry that gets disrupted, to strategic ventures and new business models. From performance management to customer journey optimization.
citizenM started over a decade ago (in 2008), with one hotel at Schiphol Airport. citizenM now operates 20 hotels across North America, Europe, and Asia, with over a dozen new hotels under development globally.
The company will continue to disrupt the hotel industry with enormous European and US expansion, new additions in Asia, and ventures into unchartered territories (hello, Australia). Most recently, they've opened flagship hotels in Boston, Seattle, Washington DC, Zurich and Geneva.
