What did Christ mean when He said “go and tell”? How can you do just that?Thanks for joining in today for your weekly dose of love and encouragement, as we share part 2 of our interview with Pastor and Mission Strategist Jeff Joyce about “going on mission” to inspire your deeper Christian living.
Who is Jeff Joyce? After graduating from college and starting his career in accounting, Jeff answered the call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and then moved his family to Chattanooga, Tennessee, to continue his training at Temple Baptist Seminary. During his time in Chattanooga, Pastor Jeff served on staff at Highland Park Baptist Church. In 1998, he returned to pastor his home church, White’s Memorial Baptist, and served there for more than 21 years. In 2019, Jeff accepted the role of Mission Strategist for the Randolph Baptist Association.
In addition to his ministry life, Jeff was happily married for 27 years until his wife, Gaye, went home to be with the Lord after her battle with breast cancer in March 2017. He is the father to four sons and grandfather to two grandsons he absolutely adores. In his free time, he loves hanging out with the grandsons and cheering on the UNC Tar Heels basketball team.
