National Dork Day observed on July 15th every year, caught my attention. It is a day to celebrate your imperfections and disregard the norm of what others think is acceptable. How interesting!! Have you ever enjoyed being silly or ignorant? I certainly have, the moment of pure joy!! No wonder happy as a baby is a universally accepted premise. Ignorance is Bliss originated in 1742 in Thomas Gray's poem, where he quotes, " Where ignorance is Bliss, 'ti's folly to be wise!" Recollecting my childhood days, there is a precious learning towards the end.
